Hyderabad witnessed a bold crime on Friday, August 29, when chain snatchers targeted a woman in Uppal Bhagayat. As she walked alone in the park, the criminals approached her, threatening and robbing her of her gold chain and earrings. They also seized her Apple cellphone, tossing it into a bag before fleeing the scene.
Distressed by the incident, the woman immediately contacted the police through the emergency number 100. The Rachakonda police swiftly began their investigation. They are currently reviewing CCTV footage from the park and surrounding areas to identify the perpetrators.
This alarming event has left local residents anxious about their safety. Many community members are urging the police to take swift action and boost patrol efforts to prevent future incidents.
