Chief Whip D Vinay Bhaskar spoke to the media in Hanumakonda on Saturday. He stated that if the BJP-led Central Government respected the legislation passed in Parliament, it would establish a rail coach factory in Kazipet, a steel plant in Bayyaram, and a tribal university in Mulugu. Vinay criticized the Narendra Modi Government for not keeping the promises made to Telangana under the AP Reorganisation Act-2014. He also criticized Union Tourism Minister G Kishan Reddy for not allocating funds for tourism development in the region.
Vinay subtly attacked the BJP, saying that some leaders only remember people ahead of elections. He praised Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao for putting Telangana on top of other states in the country during his nine-year rule. Vinay challenged the BJP and Congress to implement welfare and developmental programs carried out by Telangana in states ruled by them. He noted that the Congress ignored shelterless people and slum-dwellers when it was in power, but KCR provided them plots as per the GO 58. Vinay also mentioned that KCR had earmarked 3,000 yards for the construction of KalojiKalakshetram.
Vinay said that IT, MA&UD Minister K T Rama Rao is very keen to develop Warangal as an IT Hub. He listed existing IT majors Cyient, Tech Mahindra, and Quadrant Resource, along with Genpact and L&T Infotech-Mindtree, as companies that have set up units in the Madikonda IT SEZ. Vinay estimated that new companies would provide nearly 2,000 jobs. Farmers Debt Commission chairman NagurlaVenkateshwarlu, Kakatiya Urban Development Authority (KUDA) chairman Sunder Raj Yadav, District Libraries chairman Azeez Khan, KUDA former chairman Yadava Reddy, and senior BRS leader T Janardhan Goud were present.
