City Police praised for supporting Padayatra procession on Musi River rejuvenation in Hyderabad

Dr. Venkat Dass, who is an Associate Professor at Osmania University and the Chairman of the Society for Earth Justice in Hyderabad, thanked the City Police Commissioner for allowing them to carry out the first phase of the Padayatra on Musi River rejuvenation. The Padayatra started on March 29 and ended on April 6.

Dr. Venkat Dass also said that their committee organized a second phase of the Padayatra with 100 to 200 members to raise awareness about keeping the Musi River clean and tidy. The Padayatra started on April 23 from OU Engineering College and will continue until it reaches Chaderghat on June 11, stopping at different places along the way.

The Padayatra starts daily around 4 pm and continues until 8 pm.
