CM participates in devotional celebrations at Yadagirigutta

Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and his wife visited Yadagirigutta on Sunday to take part in the Maha Kumbhabhishekam and Samprokshana ceremonies at the Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple. They spent nearly two hours at the temple, participating in various religious rituals.

The couple arrived at the guest house on Yadagirigutta Hill at 11:15 am. Dressed in traditional attire, they left the guest house at 11:20 am and took the lift route to the northern Mada Street. From there, they proceeded to the Panchakundatmaka Yagasala, where they performed special prayers for the sacred water used in the Kumbhabhishekam.

At 11:28 am, they left the Yagasala and moved towards the southern Thiru Street. Using a specially arranged staircase, they reached the Vimana Gopuram by 11:32 am. Standing on the western side of the structure, the Chief Minister officially unveiled the Swarna Vimana Gopuram.

Next, at 11:35 am, they reached the Sudarshana Chakra atop the Vimana Gopuram. Under the guidance of Vanamamalai Ramanuja Jeeyar Swamy, the temple priests conducted special pujas following the Pancharatra Agama Shastra. Later, at 11:45 am, the Chief Minister and his wife performed the Maha Kumbhabhishekam and Samprokshana rituals for both the Sudarshana Chakra and the Swarna Vimana Gopuram.

After completing these rituals, they walked around the Sudarshana Chakra along with priests and dignitaries, receiving their blessings. At 11:56 am, they moved towards the main temple, entering through the eastern entrance. They first offered prayers to Lord Hanuman before proceeding to the sanctum (Garbha Griha) at 12:10 pm. Inside, they had darshan of both the self-manifested (Swayambhu) and consecrated (Pratishta) deities.

At 12:20 pm, in the Mukha Mandapam, the Chief Minister and his wife, along with several officials and MLAs, received Vedic blessings from the temple’s chief priests. Five minutes later, the temple’s hereditary trustee, B Narasimhamurthy, presented the Maha Prasadam to them. Additionally, officials from the Endowments Department gifted them a replica of the Vimana Gopuram.

By 12:28 pm, the couple received blessings from Sri Vanamamalai Ramanuja Jeeyar Swamy and made offerings at the temple hundis. At 12:33 pm, they exited through the western entrance and spoke with sanitation workers about their work. Shortly after, at 12:35 pm, they returned to the guest house.

From 12:40 pm to 1:05 pm, they participated in Annadanam (a free food offering) organized by the temple administration. Finally, at 1:08 pm, the Chief Minister and his wife left Yadagirigutta Hill, concluding their visit.
