Hyderabad’s Chief Minister, Revanth Reddy, recently spoke about concerns regarding real estate projects in the city, especially those near water bodies. He assured property owners that if their buildings have the necessary permits, they do not have to worry about their structures being torn down.
There have been rumors that the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) might demolish buildings close to lakes, even if they have valid permissions. However, CM Revanth dismissed these rumors. He made it clear that no buildings with proper approvals will be demolished.
The Chief Minister also reassured real estate developers and investors. He said there is no need for property owners to worry and encouraged them to continue their projects without fear of any unfair actions against their investments.
Revanth’s comments were meant to clarify the government’s stance and restore confidence in the real estate sector. He emphasized that legal constructions will be protected, while the government continues to balance development with environmental concerns as the city grows.
