    Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has directed officials to continue rescue operations in the SriSailam Left Bank Canal (SLBC) tunnel accident. He also instructed Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari to appoint a senior IAS officer to oversee the rescue efforts at all times.

    During a high-level review meeting, the Chief Minister discussed the progress of the ongoing rescue operations with his cabinet colleagues and senior officials. Officials provided detailed updates on the steps taken so far to handle the situation.

    Revanth Reddy stressed the importance of a coordinated approach in the rescue efforts. He ordered officials to follow expert committee recommendations and obtain necessary permissions from the central government to ensure smooth progress.
