    District Collector Visits Palem Village to Review Government Schemes

    Nagar Kurnool: On Thursday, District Collector Badavath Santosh visited Palem Gram Panchayat in Bijinapally Mandal, Nagarkurnool district, to inspect ongoing government initiatives. He reviewed the layout in Survey Number 275/A of the village and assessed the selection process for beneficiaries under the Rythu Bharosa scheme, a key government program aimed at supporting farmers.

    During the visit, the Collector worked closely with local officials, including the Mandal Tahsildar, MPDO, Mandal Agriculture Officer, and Panchayat Secretary. Together, they verified the details of beneficiaries on-site. The Collector stressed the importance of accurately identifying eligible individuals and ensuring transparency in the implementation of the scheme.

    In addition to the scheme review, the Collector inspected various areas in the village, such as warehouses, rice mills, mining lands, industrial lands, and non-agricultural lands. He instructed officials to prepare detailed reports on these areas to facilitate better management and future planning.

    At the Palem Gram Panchayat office, the Collector also examined land records and beneficiary data gathered by the officials. This review was aimed at ensuring that the documentation aligned with ground realities and that all processes were carried out efficiently.

    The visit was attended by Bijinapally Tahsildar Sriramulu, MPDO Katalappa, Mandal Agriculture Officer Neeti, the Panchayat Secretary, and other officials. Their presence highlighted the collaborative effort to ensure proper implementation of government programs in the region.
