Congress leaders in Warangal lodged a complaint against K T Rama Rao for his derogatory remarks against Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy. They demanded legal action be taken against KTR for his baseless allegations.

The Congress leaders, led by PCC Member Bathini Srinivas Rao, expressed their concern over KTR’s continuous targeting of Revanth. They cited KTR’s claim that Revanth had collected Rs 2,500 crore from local contractors and sent it to the Congress high command. Bathini stated that KTR’s accusations were aimed at damaging Revanth’s reputation and speculated that Revanth would join the BJP after the Lok Sabha elections.

Bathini emphasized the need for KTR to provide evidence to support his claims against Revanth instead of making unsubstantiated allegations. The Congress leaders plan to approach the Election Commission to request the cancellation of BRS party’s recognition if KTR continues to make irresponsible statements.
