In preparation for the upcoming bye-elections in Secunderabad Cantonment assembly constituency, BRS candidate Lasya Nivedita and Congress candidate N Sri Ganesh have started a political campaign to address unresolved issues in the area. They are visiting every household in the Cantonment to connect with residents.

Both Nivedita and Sri Ganesh, key candidates of Secunderabad Cantonment Board (SCB), are making an effort to engage with locals in all parts of the constituency. Recently, Nivedita campaigned in Ward-6 while Sri Ganesh campaigned in Ward-3.

Residents have expressed their concerns about merging SCB with GHMC and emphasized the need for better healthcare and education facilities. The candidates promised to prioritize the establishment of more educational institutions and health centers, as there is currently only one government hospital in the Cantonment.
