Congress and MIM engage in a clash during polls in Hyderabad

A group of people attacked the Congress candidate Shaik Akbar during the polls in Malakpet. The police had to use force to control the situation. Akbar was rescued by the police and filed a complaint against AIMIM leaders. The police are investigating the case.

Akbar claimed that many people protested outside polling stations in different divisions because their names were removed from the electoral list. He also alleged that there was widespread fake voting in these divisions.

In another incident, the Congress candidate for Charminar, Mujeebullah Shareef, was also attacked by a group of people at HussainiAlam. The police arrested those involved in the clash and the victims were taken to the hospital. Shareef filed a complaint with the police.

There have been several clashes between AIMIM, Congress, and MBT workers in different constituencies leading up to the elections. Cases have been registered against them.
