Hyderabad: TPCC Secretary Mohd Saleem has pointed out that the Congress party missed an opportunity in the Haryana Assembly elections. Despite the BJP facing anti-incumbency, Congress could not take full advantage of the situation.

He advised the party’s High Command and State leadership to closely monitor party workers who may have secret ties with the BJP and RSS cadres. Saleem warned that the leadership should be very careful when giving party tickets to candidates in the upcoming elections in Maharashtra, Jharkhand, and Delhi. This is especially important when considering candidates who previously belonged to parties like the BJP or NDA alliances.

Saleem highlighted that the Gandhi family and a few loyal leaders at both the national and State levels, who make up about 30% of the party, are the ones who can always be trusted.

He insisted that loyal party workers should be given priority when distributing tickets, even if they may not win the first time they contest.
