Adilabad, Telangana – The Telangana government is aiming to boost the development of the Boath constituency and give it a key role in the state’s political landscape, said Taher Bin Handhan, Chairman of the Telangana Urdu Academy.
On Thursday, party leaders and workers gathered at a private function hall in Boath for a strategic meeting. Representatives came from Boath, Sonala, Bajharhatnur, and Neradigonda mandals. The focus was on strengthening the Congress party’s base and preparing for upcoming local elections.
Taher Bin Handhan, who also serves as TPCC Vice President, shared that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy had recognized Boath’s importance even before coming to power. Now, with the Congress party in government, leaders want local workers to take full advantage of this support.
Party members were encouraged to spread awareness about government schemes and work actively at the booth level to ensure strong grassroots presence. Leaders emphasized the need for unity and warned against airing internal disagreements in public. They stressed that all issues should be resolved within party channels, or disciplinary action would follow.
By April 30, the Congress party plans to announce new leadership for the Adilabad district, including district presidents, block presidents, and mandal-level heads.
Several top leaders attended the meeting. These included Boath in-charge Aade Gajender, Adilabad in-charge Kandi Srinivas Reddy, DCCB Bank Chairman Addi Boja Reddy, and Boath Agricultural Market Committee Chairman Boddu Gangareddy.
