The Congress MLAs from Bihar who were staying in Telangana for a week have left for Patna to attend the new NDA government’s floor test on February 12. They were sent to Hyderabad on February 4 due to the political changes in Bihar.

The 17 MLAs arrived in Hyderabad and stayed in Ibrahimpatnam for a week before leaving for Patna on a special chartered flight on Sunday. The Congress, which is the second largest party in the Mahagathbandhan, moved the MLAs to Hyderabad to protect them from being poached by the NDA after losing power.

These MLAs arrived in Hyderabad on the same day that 40 MLAs from Jharkhand’s Congress party left after their three-day stay. The Jharkhand MLAs were staying at a resort in Shamirpet due to events in their state. After an unsuccessful attempt on February 1, they were moved on February 2 via two special flights. The day after their arrival, all these MLAs participated in the floor test of Champai Soren, who proved his majority in the state’s assembly.
