Warangal MLA Kadiyam Srihari spoke to reporters in Hanumakonda, expressing his belief that only the Congress can stop the BJP. He warned that if the BJP wins over 400 seats in the Lok Sabha elections, they may try to change the constitution and remove reservations for Dalits, which would be harmful for the country.
Srihari explained that he switched to the Congress party from BRS for the betterment of his constituency, despite facing criticism from BRS leaders like Jangaon MLA Palla Rajeshwar Reddy. He accused Palla and Errabelli of misleading KCR and causing the downfall of BRS.
The MLA denied allegations of taking money from Congress to join their party and criticized MRPS founder Manda Krishna Madiga for targeting him personally. Srihari also disagreed with Manda Krishna’s decision to support the BJP instead of demanding actions like SC Categorisation through an Ordinance.
Additionally, Kadiyam Kavya, Srihari’s daughter and Warangal Lok Sabha candidate, expressed gratitude towards Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, and Mallikarjuna Kharge for nominating her for the upcoming elections.
