Gadwal: B.M. Santosh, the District Collector, announced that the Dasara Sharannavaratri Mahotsavam will be celebrated at the Jogulamba temple from September 22 to October 2.
On Wednesday, a meeting took place at the Collectorate Conference Hall. District SP Srinivas Rao and officials from different departments attended.
The Collector instructed officials to coordinate efforts to ensure a smooth experience for devotees. He emphasized strict adherence to VIP protocols during the event.
He directed Mission Bhagiratha to ensure there is enough drinking water, especially at the Prasadam Scheme building. Municipal authorities were told to maintain cleanliness in the temple and nearby areas.
The RTC was asked to increase bus services from Hyderabad to Alampur and provide local shuttles to the temple. Due to high water levels, the SDRF and Fire Safety teams were advised to stay alert.
Police were tasked with managing traffic and deploying extra personnel for the anticipated crowds. The Collector requested a medical camp and ambulance for emergencies. The electricity department was asked to provide continuous power.
He urged all departments to collaborate effectively, as they did last year, to ensure a successful celebration without incidents.
The meeting included RDO Alivelu, Temple EO Deepti, and officials from Mission Bhagiratha, R&B, health, fire, and municipal departments.
