Unemployed people in Nagarkurnool protested in front of the district central library to demand a reduction in the TET application fee. The protest was organized by the unemployment JAC. The District President of Unemployment JAC, Kumbham Ramakrishna Goud, highlighted that the TET application fee is currently one thousand rupees for one paper, and two thousand rupees for two papers, including online charges. This amount is considered a heavy financial burden on the unemployed.

Ramakrishna Goud also mentioned that the previous government had increased application fees, causing difficulties for the unemployed. The current government is accused of doing the same to put financial pressure on unemployed individuals. He warned that if the TET fee is not reduced to 200 rupees, the unemployed will show their strength in the upcoming Parliament elections.
