    DEO Conducts Surprise Inspections at Schools in Telkapally and Nagarkurnool Mandals

    On Thursday, District Education Officer (DEO) Ramesh Kumar made unannounced visits to Ram Reddy Pally and Chinna Muddanuru primary schools in Telkapally Mandal. He began his inspection by attending the morning prayer at Ram Reddy Pally School, where he interacted with both teachers and students to understand their daily activities and challenges.

    Later, he visited the Kasturba Gandhi Girls’ School in Nagarkurnool Mandal. During his inspection, he thoroughly examined the facilities, including the dormitory, kitchen, storeroom, and playground, to ensure they were well-maintained and met the required standards.

    The DEO paid special attention to the quality of food provided to students. He reviewed the stored rice, vegetables, and other supplies to ensure they were fresh and safe for consumption. Additionally, he inspected the vegetables being prepared for cooking and checked the eggs to verify they were not spoiled. He stressed the importance of serving nutritious and tasty meals to students daily, strictly adhering to the prescribed menu.

    Ramesh Kumar also emphasized maintaining cleanliness in food preparation areas. He instructed the staff to organize the storeroom properly to avoid contamination and asked them to promptly report any cases of adulterated or poor-quality food supplies to the authorities. He highlighted the need for regular health check-ups for students to prioritize their well-being.

    During his interactions with students, the DEO asked about the quality of food, accommodation, teaching, and their daily routines. He encouraged them to focus on their studies and aim for higher goals in life. He also advised students to speak up and report any issues they might face, ensuring their voices are heard.

    The DEO’s visit underlined the importance of providing a clean, safe, and supportive learning environment for students in the region.
