    Dil Raju Optimistic About Global Recognition for Telugu Cinema

    Hyderabad: Dil Raju, Chairman of the Telangana Film Development Corporation (FDC), recently expressed his optimism about the growing national and international recognition of Telugu cinema. He shared these thoughts after an important meeting with Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, where the focus was on expanding the industry’s global reach.

    During the meeting, which was held at the Command Control Room, Dil Raju highlighted the Chief Minister’s vision for Telugu cinema. He explained that the government is committed to elevating the industry to an international level. “CM Revanth Reddy stressed the importance of taking Telugu cinema to global heights. We discussed ways to collaborate and grow the industry while ensuring its success worldwide,” said Dil Raju.

    The discussions were not about local issues like ticket rates or benefit shows. Instead, the primary focus was on making Telugu cinema more prominent on the global stage. The Chief Minister also assured that the government would work towards developing the necessary infrastructure to establish Hyderabad as a leading destination for international film productions.

    “This was one of the most productive meetings I’ve attended,” Dil Raju shared. “The Chief Minister has a clear vision for the future of Telugu cinema. He wants the industry to gain respect nationally while operating on a global scale.”

    Dil Raju emphasized the importance of cooperation between the film industry and the government. He also noted that Hyderabad is becoming a hub for filmmaking, with both Telugu films and movies in other languages being shot in the city. “The government is committed to providing world-class arrangements to support high-quality film productions here,” he added.

    The Chief Minister also encouraged the film industry to play a bigger role in addressing social issues. Dil Raju revealed that CM Revanth Reddy urged the industry to use its influence to support causes like anti-drug campaigns. “We agreed to take an active role in promoting social causes,” he said.

    The meeting ended on a positive note, with industry leaders thanking CM Revanth Reddy for fostering such a productive discussion. Dil Raju concluded by saying that the meeting was not about immediate topics like Sankranti film releases but about the long-term growth and global aspirations of the Telugu cinema industry.
