District of Columbia officials inspect TET exam centers within the district

The district Collector, Valluri Kranti, inspected the Teachers Eligibility Test examination centres in the district. She visited the examination centres at Krishna Veni College and SVM College in Gadwal town. She enquired about the facilities arranged for the exams and inspected the examination halls.

During her visit, the collector also checked the attendance with the superintendent. Out of 13,255 applicants, 8,052 candidates were scheduled to appear for the exam. Among them, 7,030 candidates actually appeared, while 1,022 were absent in all 34 centres. In the afternoon session, 5,203 candidates were supposed to appear, but only 4,825 candidates showed up and 378 were absent. The examination was completed peacefully without any disturbances, she added.

MEO Raju, chief superintendent Hanumanthu Reddy, Nageswar Rao, Tashildars also participated in the inspection along with the district Collector.
