The Telangana Run was held on Monday to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Telangana State. Many young people from the city participated. State Ministers, the City Mayor, MLA, Chief Secretary, and DGP were all there. Famous sportsmen, singers, and a movie actress also attended. Before the run began, famous singers Mangli and Ram sang Telangana songs.
Over 4000 runners participated in the event. The run reflected Telangana culture, including Bonalu, Bathukamma, police cavalry, drums, and other dances.
State Ministers spoke at the event. Home Minister Mahmood Ali praised KCR as the best Chief Minister in the country. Youth and Culture Minister V. Srinivas Goud said that Telangana is leading in IT and that young people should help with development programs.
Mayor Gadwal Vijaya Lakshmi said that it was an honor to organize the Telangana Run inspired by the largest statue of Ambedkar in the country. MLA Danam Nagender said that the celebrations have been started to explain to people the development of impunity in the State for the past nine years.
Shanti Kumari, Chief Secretary of the State Government, said that the Telangana state’s 10th anniversary celebrations are getting a great response from the people. DGP Anjani Kumar said that Telangana is the safest and healthiest city in the country.
Many senior IAS and IPS officers and high officials of various departments participated in this program.
