In Karimnagar, on World Sepsis Day, Apollo Reach Hospitals hosted an event to raise awareness about sepsis. Doctors at the event underlined the serious threat sepsis poses, noting that it claims millions of lives globally each year.

Senior physicians Dr. Chandrasekhar and Dr. Tirunadhar, alongside Cardiothoracic & Vascular Surgeon Dr. Santosh Dhangeti, explained that sepsis happens when an infection enters the bloodstream, leading to organ failure. They highlighted that sepsis is a medical emergency that requires swift action.

The doctors urged people to seek medical help quickly when infections arise. They also emphasized the importance of maintaining hygiene and getting vaccinated to prevent infections.
