The State Medical Council considers this quackery and wants it to be punishable by law. They have noticed issues like instant weight loss tips and using spices to treat common ailments.

    A professor from Warangal Ayurvedic College warned about the dangers of following advice from social media. Some videos suggest drinking excessive amounts of water or crash diet programs, which can harm the body. There is no system in place to check these programs on social media, allowing creators to escape punishment.

    The Telangana State Medical Council Vice Chairman urged the government to focus on regulating social media content that spreads unscientific advice.     Experts recommend consulting registered dieticians for advice on food and not relying on unverified information online. They stress the importance of media in spreading awareness about the dangers of following unscientific advice on social media.
