Nagar Kurnool – Former Lions District Governor Radhakrishna has been honored with the Three Diamond Pin, a top award from the Lions International Foundation, for his exceptional service and commitment to humanitarian efforts.
The award ceremony took place at PNR Empire in Hyderabad. Former Lions International Director Sunil Kumar presented the award. Area Leader Narender Reddy, District Governor Koteswara Rao, and Incoming Governor Mahendra Kumar Reddy also attended the event.
Radhakrishna shared how, during his time as District Governor, he worked to make a real difference. Under his leadership, the Foundation launched twenty ‘Meals on Wheels’ vehicles. These vans provide free, daily meals to caregivers and families of patients in government hospitals across Telangana and Raichur.
He also helped hospitals receive much-needed oxygen concentrators and CT scan machines. These services continue to support patients without delays or interruptions.
Radhakrishna praised the Lions International Foundation for its global reach. He emphasized the group’s quick response to natural disasters worldwide, offering help wherever it’s needed most.
“I’m truly honored to receive the Three Diamond Pin,” he said. “It’s a proud moment and a recognition of the work we’ve done to serve those in need.”
