Hyderabad residents should prepare for a week of chilly weather and fog as predicted by the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
Not just the city, but other districts in Telangana will also experience these cold conditions.
Temperatures in Hyderabad have dropped below 13 degrees Celsius in areas like Tirumalagiri, Maredpally, Charminar, Shaikpet, Asifnagar, and Nampally.
In other districts, temperatures have fallen below 10 degrees Celsius, with Kumuram Bheem recording the lowest at 6.9 degrees Celsius.
A local weatherman known for precise forecasts expects this cold spell to persist until December 31. However, IMD Hyderabad has not issued any official alerts.
He predicts that the 25-day cold wave will end on December 31, after which typical winter temperatures will return across Telangana.
Though forecasted foggy conditions will last until December 28 in the city, no alert has been issued for the cold.
These misty conditions are expected at night and early morning, so residents should plan their travel accordingly during these times.
