A serious incident occurred in Gokul Nagar, Ramanthapur, causing tension on Monday. Residents protested against Telangana Southern Power Distribution Company Limited (TGSPDCL) after six people died from electrocution during a Srikrishna Janmashtami procession on Sunday night.

Musharraf Faruqui, the TGSPDCL Chairman and Managing Director, visited the area to investigate. The residents accused the officials of negligence and blocked them, refusing to disperse despite police efforts. This protest caused major traffic jams on the Ramanthapur-Uppal route.

Residents blamed the officials for not addressing the issue of low-hanging and damaged wires, despite repeated complaints. They claimed these issues led to the tragic accident.
