The gold, worth an estimated Rs10,36,000, was found hidden in the passenger’s belongings during routine checks. A case has been registered and an investigation is underway. This is not the first time such a seizure has happened at RGIA, and authorities are now increasing their vigilance to prevent smuggling attempts.

Airport authorities and customs officials are urging travelers to follow all regulations and accurately declare their belongings to avoid legal complications.
