Government approves two-lane roads in TG Kishan

Hyderabad: The infrastructure in Telangana is set to improve significantly with new road projects. Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari has given the green light for the expansion of key roads under the Central Road and Infrastructure Fund (CRIF) scheme. This decision comes after a request to meet the state’s growing development needs.

Union Minister G Kishan Reddy shared this news on Sunday. The approved projects will transform several single-lane roads into two-lane routes. This upgrade aims to enhance connectivity and boost regional economic growth. The projects include roads from Lemoor Road connecting Srisailam Highway to Thimmapur in Ranga Reddy district; Kappapahad to Gungal via Thulekalan; Begumpet to Eliminedu through Madhapur in Ranga Reddy district, and the Salugupalli to Thalodi Road in Asifabad district.

These projects promise to greatly improve road connectivity throughout Telangana, making transportation easier and supporting local economies. He highlighted that these road expansions demonstrate the central government’s dedication to enhancing infrastructure in Telangana and addressing the region’s changing logistical and economic needs.
