HYDERABAD: Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka announced that the government is rolling out jobs and livelihood opportunities for unemployed youth in three key phases.

On Saturday, he opened a Mega Job Fair hosted by Singareni Collieries Company in the Wyra constituency, located in Khammam district. Addressing the crowd, Bhatti said the goal is to tap into the potential of educated young people and use their skills to help society progress.

He shared that the Telangana Public Service Commission (TPSC) has been revamped and a new job calendar has been launched. In the first year, the government filled 56,000 government posts, and another 30,000 positions are in the pipeline.

Bhatti also emphasized that the state is attracting multinational companies by improving infrastructure, creating job opportunities for lakhs of youth.

To boost self-employment, the government has dedicated ₹9,000 crore under the Rajiv Yuva Vikasam scheme. On June 2, around 5 lakh young people will receive official approval letters to begin their ventures.

He strongly criticized the previous BRS government, blaming them for failing to fill 2 lakh government vacancies over 10 years. He noted that no Group-1 exams were conducted, leaving many qualified candidates jobless and families struggling.

Bhatti said the new Congress-led government is working under the vision of Indiramma Rajyam to reverse this damage.

For tribal welfare, he pointed out that under the UPA government, the Forest Rights Act (ROFR) gave land rights to tribal communities. However, the last government never allowed them to use the land for farming.

Now, the Congress government has launched the Indira Solar Giri Jal Vikasam scheme worth ₹12,600 crore. This project supports tribal farming with solar-powered irrigation, borewells, drip and sprinkler systems, and free saplings like avocado and palm oil.

In the field of education, Bhatti announced the creation of 60 Young India Integrated Residential Schools. These schools, backed by a ₹11,600 crore budget, will offer free, high-quality education from Class 4 to Intermediate. He said this is the largest-ever investment in education in Telangana.

He also mentioned that Telangana is the only state providing subsidized rice through ration shops.

On women empowerment, Bhatti said the previous governments failed to offer interest-free loans. This year alone, the Congress government distributed ₹21,000 crore in such loans. Over five years, they plan to give out ₹1 lakh crore, aiming to turn 1 crore women into millionaires.

For farmers, the government has allocated ₹18,000 crore for the Rythu Bharosa scheme. It is covering insurance premiums and giving an extra ₹500 bonus per quintal for paddy. The state is also promoting modern irrigation methods, including drip and sprinkler systems.

Bhatti concluded by reaffirming the government’s commitment to building a state that offers real opportunities, support, and growth for every citizen.
