Hyderabad: Telangana State Governor Jishnu Dev Varma emphasized the shared responsibility to protect both literature and culture in today’s world. He inaugurated the Saraswati Literary Fest organized by the Varma Foundation at JNTU on Vyasa Purnima.

During his speech, he spoke about the ancient concept of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam,” which means the world is one family. This idea, introduced a thousand years ago, encourages us to see everyone as part of a global family. He stressed that, despite rapid technological progress, staying connected to our roots is essential for true success.

Governor Varma highlighted the importance of preserving India’s cultural heritage alongside modern development. He noted that the global village concept today is rooted in the principle of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam.”
