Hyderabad: The city experienced heavy rainfall for the second day in a row on Friday. This caused waterlogging, overflowing drains, and traffic problems in many parts of Hyderabad.

After the rain, traffic slowed down in several areas of the city. Places like Lakdikapul, Mehdipatnam, Tolichowki, Ameerpet, and Khairtabad towards Pujjagutta saw slow movement of vehicles. Other areas such as LB Nagar, Vanasthalipuram, Jubilee Hills, Tarnaka, Secunderabad, Kukatpally, Hitech City, Gachibowli, and Khajaguda also faced similar traffic jams, especially in the IT corridor.

The rain created major issues in areas like LB Nagar, Vanasthalipuram, Chintal, and Tarnaka. Roads were flooded, and overflowing drains added to the problems. Many bikes and cars in LB Nagar and Vanasthalipuram were submerged, making it difficult for motorists to move around.
