Hyderabad’s emergence as a premier destination for Global Capability Centres (GCCs) continues with four new companies announcing their entry into the city. This brings the total number of new GCCs in 2025 to 86, reinforcing the city’s position as a major global business hub.
The year has witnessed unprecedented growth, with 34 new Fortune 500 companies establishing their presence in Hyderabad. The addition of these four GCCs further strengthens the city’s reputation in the global corporate landscape.
Stolt-Nielsen, a European and Bermuda-based global leader in specialty bulk liquid logistics, is among the new entrants. The company specializes in chemical shipping, tank containers, and terminal operations, bringing its expertise in handling complex logistics solutions to the Indian market.
Maximus, a US-based government services company, has chosen Hyderabad for its expansion. The company focuses on health and human services delivery. This will mark their second GCC in India, demonstrating confidence in the country’s talent pool and infrastructure capabilities.
The life sciences sector is also expanding its footprint with ProPharma setting up operations in the city. The US-based company provides regulatory support and clinical services for the pharmaceutical industry, assisting in bringing new drugs from development stages to market launch.
Novant Health, a not-for-profit hospital and healthcare system from the United States, rounds out the list of new GCC establishments. The organization operates a strong network across multiple states in America and is now extending its operational capabilities to Hyderabad.
The influx of GCCs spans diverse sectors including logistics, government services, life sciences, and healthcare. This diversification indicates Hyderabad’s capability to support various industry verticals with skilled workforce and robust infrastructure.
The city’s technology infrastructure, availability of skilled professionals, competitive operational costs, and supportive government policies have made it an attractive destination for international companies looking to establish their capability centres in India.
With over 80 GCCs entering Hyderabad this year alone, the city continues to compete with other major Indian metros as a preferred location for global corporations seeking to leverage India’s talent and cost advantages.
The establishment of these centres is expected to generate significant employment opportunities across various skill levels, from entry-level positions to senior management roles, contributing to the local economy and talent development ecosystem.
