He praised former Chief Minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy and emphasized their close relationship.

Rahul Gandhi highlighted YSR’s influence on his political journey, mentioning how YSR inspired his Bharat Jodo Yatra. He criticized the current administration in Andhra Pradesh for lacking YSR’s welfare-focused governance and accused them of revenge politics.

He expressed concern over Andhra Pradesh’s diminished voice in Delhi, blaming BJP’s influence over local leaders like Jagan Mohan Reddy and Chandrababu Naidu. Rahul Gandhi stressed the need to prioritize the state’s interests on a national level.

Promising Special Status for Andhra Pradesh, Rahul Gandhi outlined various initiatives for the state, including financial assistance for housing, crop loan waivers, free education, and job vacancies. He also proposed national-level policies to uplift underprivileged families and support agricultural workers.
