    Congress leader Rahul Gandhi spoke at a public meeting in Kadapa, promising Special Category Status for Andhra Pradesh if the Congress-led Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA) won the Lok Sabha elections. He praised former Chief Minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy and emphasized their close relationship.

    Rahul Gandhi highlighted YSR’s influence on his political journey, mentioning how YSR inspired his Bharat Jodo Yatra. He criticized the current administration in Andhra Pradesh for lacking YSR’s welfare-focused governance and accused them of revenge politics.

    Promising Special Status for Andhra Pradesh, Rahul Gandhi outlined various initiatives for the state, including financial assistance for housing, crop loan waivers, free education, and job vacancies.
