Last week, Delhi-NCR experienced heavy monsoon rains. In fact, the city broke a 41-year record for rainfall in July. The Meteorological Department expects more rain in the coming week and has issued a yellow alert for rain on July 15 and 16. Due to the heavy rainfall, temperatures have dropped. On Wednesday, there was little rain observed in Delhi, resulting in maximum and lowest temperatures of 34 and 26 degrees Celsius respectively.

According to the IMD, rain is predicted for the next six days. Specifically, moderate to heavy rain is expected in several areas of Delhi on Saturday and Sunday. During this time, the temperature will continue to decrease.
