The festival, organized by the Grassroots Innovations Augmentation Network (GIAN) and the Centre for Cellular and Molecular Platforms (C-CAMP), will take place in New Delhi from November 28 to December 2. This year’s theme is ‘Scaling Innovations’ and brings together innovators from various sectors such as healthcare, agriculture, animal health, farming machinery, natural resource management, environment, utilities, and clean energy.
The selected innovators from Telangana are SK Rajalipasha, who has created a safety alert helmet for the deaf and dumb; Alladi Prabhakar, who has developed a multifunctional health bed that aids diverse patients and enhances blind safety; Raju Mupparapu, who has invented a power-saving street light control innovation; Tejaswi Velugapally and their team, who have created a sustainable street vending solution that reduces waste; and M Gopal Singh, who has designed automated timer controls for valves in agriculture and gas cylinders.
