Mahabubnagar: The Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage (INTACH) Mahbubnagar Chapter is organizing a quiz competition. This event will take place at the Local Government Model Basic High School in Mahbubnagar (Urban) on Thursday, August 29, 2024. The quiz is part of a larger national initiative by INTACH to teach school children about heritage.
The competition will start at 10:30 AM. A total of 37 teams from 11 different schools in the Mahbubnagar area have signed up to participate. The team that wins this round will advance to the district level competition, where they will face teams from 16 other mandals. This district level quiz will also be held on the same day at 1:30 PM in the same school.
At the end of the district competition, the District Educational Officer (DEO) will give out prizes and certificates to the winners.
Dr. T. Nagender Swamy, who is the Convener of INTACH Mahbubnagar Chapter, is in charge of organizing the event. The INTACH Mahbubnagar Chapter is led by the District Collector, who is the Chief Patron. Dr. T. Nagender Swamy, Mr. VSRK Prasad, and Mr. S. Chandrakumar Goud serve as the Convener, Co-Convener, and Additional Co-Convener, respectively.
