The meteorological department has issued an intense thunderstorm warning for several districts across North, Central, and East Telangana today. Districts including Adilabad, Asifabad, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jagitial, Mancherial, Bhupalapally, Mulugu, Karimnagar, Sircilla, Peddapalli, and Bhadradri-Kothagudem are expected to experience scattered intense thunderstorms during the afternoon to night period. Weather authorities have emphasized that these areas will witness the most severe thunderstorm activity, urging residents to take necessary precautions and avoid outdoor activities during peak storm hours.

Meanwhile, Siddipet, Medak, Yadadri-Bhongir, Jangaon, Warangal, Sangareddy, and Rangareddy districts are likely to receive isolated to scattered moderate thunderstorms. These areas may experience relatively less intense weather conditions compared to the northern and eastern districts, though caution is still advised. Local authorities in these regions have been put on alert to respond to any weather-related emergencies.

The state capital Hyderabad is expected to witness isolated thunderstorms during night hours today.
