Adilabad is fully prepared to conduct the upcoming Intermediate Supplementary Examinations, according to District Intermediate Education Officer Ganesh Kumar.
A total of 6,233 students have registered to appear for the exams this year. These include students from both first and second year of Intermediate courses.
The exams will begin on Thursday, May 22.
For first-year students, exams will be conducted from 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon. Out of the total appearing, 4,141 students are taking the first-year exams. This includes 4,035 general stream students and 106 vocational course students.
The second-year exams are scheduled in the afternoon, from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. A total of 2,092 students have registered for these, with 1,966 from the general stream and 126 from vocational courses.
Ganesh Kumar reminded all students to reach their exam centers at least 30 minutes before the exam starts. This is strictly mentioned on their hall tickets and must be followed.
To ensure smooth and fair conduct of the exams, 16 examination centers have been set up across the Adilabad district. All centers are equipped with CCTV surveillance for monitoring.
The district has also appointed 16 chief superintendents, 2 additional chief superintendents, 3 custodian officers, and 3 flying squad teams. Each squad includes a senior lecturer, a deputy Tahsildar, and a sub-inspector of police.
Students will have access to cool drinking water and first aid medical support at every exam center. These arrangements aim to provide a comfortable environment for all examinees.
