In a strong display of support, 20,000 party workers and supporters joined BRS party’s MLA candidate for Suryapet, Guntakandla Jagadish Reddy, in his nomination rally. The rally started at SV Engineering College and went through Potti Sriramulu center in the town before ending at the Returning Officer’s camp.
Jagadish Reddy was accompanied by Municipal Chairperson Annapurna, party leader Ganduri Prakash, Y Venkateshwarlu, Sanjiva Naik, and others. During the rally, Jagadish Reddy praised the locals for their intelligence in choosing the right candidate for the constituency. He expressed confidence that he would win with a large majority, based on the history of the 2014 and 2018 elections.
He also expressed faith in the BRS party, stating that they would win all 12 seats in the former Nalgonda District. Before the rally, Jagadish Reddy performed a puja at Arvapally Laxmi Narasimha Swamy temple with his wife Sunitha and Tungaturthi MLA Gadadri Kishore. They also received blessings from religious leaders from the Christian and Muslim communities.
