June 19 marks the beginning of TS Haritotsava.

The Forest Department is organizing Harithotsava on June 19, with the instructions to initiate tree planting activities at various levels. The 9th phase of Harithaharam will begin with the arrival of the monsoon season. Officials are urged to make appropriate arrangements and raise awareness about Haritaharam’s achievements. The benefits of increased greenery have been enjoyed by all residents of Telangana, and posters and videos will showcase these accomplishments. Free entry will be granted to all National Parks, Urban Forest Parks, and Zoo Parks on June 19. District authorities are advised to organize special programs aimed at enhancing environmental awareness among children. A special green festival is recommended to be arranged in lands under the irrigation department, while newly planted areas in villages and mandals are suggested to be named as “decade forests.”
