Hyderabad: BRS MLC K Kavitha, who is currently in Tihar Jail because of her involvement in a liquor scam case, has been hospitalized again due to health problems.
Kavitha was taken to AIIMS in Delhi for medical tests. She is dealing with a gynecological issue and a viral fever. The doctors at Tihar Jail recommended that she be sent to AIIMS for further examination.
Earlier, on July 16, Kavitha was treated for fever at Deen Dayal Hospital in West Delhi’s Hari Nagar. After receiving treatment, she was returned to Tihar Jail. Kavitha has been in Tihar for the past five months, and her bail hearing has been postponed by the Supreme Court to August 27.
