CP Radhakrishnan has become India’s 15th Vice President, marking a significant milestone in the country’s democracy. Leaders from various political backgrounds have congratulated him, acknowledging his dedication to the nation.
G. Kishan Reddy, a Union Minister, praised Radhakrishnan’s rise from a grassroots level to the Vice Presidency. Reddy noted, “Starting as a regular party worker, CP Radhakrishnan achieved this high constitutional office through discipline and commitment. His life is truly inspiring.” Reddy also highlighted Radhakrishnan’s roles as Governor of Jharkhand, Telangana, Puducherry, and Maharashtra, where he served with integrity.
Reddy expressed confidence in Radhakrishnan’s ability to enhance the dignity of India’s Constitution as Vice President and Rajya Sabha Chairman.
N. Ramchander Rao, BJP Telangana State President, called Radhakrishnan’s election a “historic achievement” in India’s democracy. He pointed out that winning by 152 votes shows the unity of the NDA and people’s trust. “This victory emphasizes constitutional protection and social harmony,” Rao stated.
Rao also mentioned that Radhakrishnan, from the Most Backward Classes (MBC), symbolizes national aspirations and inclusive governance. He added that Radhakrishnan’s election reflects his lifelong dedication to public welfare and unity.
Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the central government continues to focus on development and social integration. Rao remarked that choosing a Vice President who represents both developed and underprivileged communities showcases this commitment.
