The Andhra Pradesh Disaster Management Authority predicts moderate to heavy rain with thunderstorms for the next three days due to a surface cyclone. Significant rainfall is expected today in districts like Alluri, Eluru, NTR, Guntur, Bapatla, and Palnadu, while other areas may see light showers.

Fishermen near Ellundi are warned to stay ashore due to forecasted coastal winds of 40-60 km/h. Prakhar Jain, Managing Director of the Disaster Management Authority, urges people to avoid taking shelter under trees, old buildings, and signs during the bad weather.

In Telangana, a monsoon trough will stretch east towards the northeast Bay of Bengal. A cyclonic circulation remains over the North Coastal Andhra near South Odisha at 4.5 km above sea level. Isolated areas like Adilabad, Komarambhim Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Hyderabad, and Warangal should brace for heavy rain today and tomorrow.

The Meteorological Centre warns of heavy rain and strong winds up to 40 km/h in districts such as Yadadri Bhuvanagiri, Rangareddy, and Kamareddy. Residents are advised to stay alert as weather conditions can change quickly.
