Kishan appeals to Rajnath for assistance in transferring Defense land for skywalk

Union Minister of Tourism and State BJP president G Kishan Reddy has written a letter to Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, asking for the permanent transfer of Defence land for a skywalk at Mehdipatnam. Reddy mentioned that the Ministry of Defence has made citizen-friendly decisions in Hyderabad recently, including providing access to various military roads by the Secunderabad Cantonment Board. He pointed out that the Rythu Bazar area in Mehdipatnam suffers from severe traffic congestion, leading to difficulties for pedestrians. Reddy requested Singh’s intervention for the transfer of 0.2 hectares of Defence land to construct skywalks and improve pedestrian safety in the area.
