Telangana State BJP chief, G Kishan Reddy, has accused the Congress government of not taking action against corruption, despite their promises. He made these comments at a preparatory meeting for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in the Chevella Parliament Constituency. Reddy claimed that the Congress and BRS parties share the same DNA of family-run parties. He also stated that the Centre is willing to conduct a CBI investigation into corruption allegations against BRS in the Kaleswaram Lift Irrigation Project (KLIP), if the State government requests it. However, the Congress government is trying to cover up the corruption and does not want a CBI investigation. Reddy urged party members to expose the Congress government’s double standards to the public and emphasized that voting for BRS will not lead to any positive outcomes. He expressed confidence in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government winning a third term and highlighted the BJP wave in Telangana ahead of the parliament elections. Reddy urged party leaders and cadre to work hard with a well-planned strategy at the booth level, emphasizing the importance of winning majority seats in Telangana. He stated that the development of Telangana is only possible with the BJP, citing various projects funded by the Centre. Reddy called on party members to raise awareness among farmers, farm laborers, youth, and women about the benefits of having a BJP majority in the state. The meeting was presided over by former MP Konda Vishweshwar Reddy and attended by senior BJP leaders and activists from the Chevella Lok Sabha segment.
