Hyderabad: Kalvakuntla Taraka Rama Rao (KTR), the BRS party working president, is upset with the Revanth government for ignoring farmers’ issues in the state.
He criticized the lack of farmer assurance and loan waiver benefits under the Congress government.
KTR highlighted that farmers struggle to access fertilizers even after taking loans for agriculture. He voiced these concerns on his social media platform, X.
KTR questioned why the state government cannot provide fertilizers despite farmers submitting their Aadhaar cards. He demanded an explanation for the 1.94 lakh metric ton fertilizer shortage in Telangana.
He also pointed out that the price of a urea bag, supposed to be Rs 266.50, has risen to Rs 325. KTR urged the government to investigate the black market activities causing this fertilizer shortage.
