Hyderabad: Women from Lagacharla village donated ₹1 lakh to support the silver jubilee celebrations of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) party. They personally gave the money to senior BRS leader K.T. Rama Rao (KTR), who thanked them warmly for their support.
KTR was touched by the donation and said it filled him with happiness and pride. He praised the tribal women of Lagacharla for their generous act, especially during tough times.
He said that the BRS party has always stood by the people during their struggles, and now the tribal community has shown strong support in return.
KTR also spoke out against the reported mistreatment of the Lagacharla tribals by the police. He called for justice and said it was unfair that such loyal and generous people were being treated badly by the authorities.
This donation comes as the BRS party gets ready to celebrate 25 years of its political journey in Telangana.
