A tragic incident occurred in Hyderabad when a father killed a dog after it attacked his son. The event took place on Saturday in the Shahinayathgunj area.
The father, a 40-year-old man named Satyanarayana, was celebrating Diwali with his son. They were setting off firecrackers, which scared a nearby dog. The frightened dog ran away but returned later and bit Satyanarayana’s son.
In a fit of anger, Satyanarayana hit the dog with an iron rod, causing severe injuries. He then took the dog to the roof of a two-story building and threw it off, which led to the dog’s death.
Local residents tried to stop Satyanarayana, but he attacked them with the same iron rod. The Shahinayathgunj police have registered a case and are now investigating the incident.
