Hyderabad: Police in Shamshabad have detained a man for growing ganja plants alongside flowers at his home in Ootpally Village, located in Rangareddy District.

The man, identified as Tajeswar Singh, secretly cultivated ganja in his garden for several weeks. He tried to hide the illegal plants among regular flower plants to avoid drawing attention.

After receiving a tip, Shamshabad Police searched his home and found the ganja plants. They arrested Tajeswar and filed a case against him.

Authorities are now investigating to find out if he grew the plants for personal use or to sell them.

Police encourage residents to report any suspicious activities in their areas.
