Kadari Anantha Reddy Announces Candidacy for Legislative Council Elections
Kadari Anantha Reddy, Chairman of Manair Educational Institutions, has officially announced his intention to run in the upcoming Legislative Council elections. These elections are scheduled to take place in March 2025, and Reddy will be contesting from the Karimnagar Teachers’ Constituency. He made this announcement on Sunday.
Anantha Reddy is a well-known figure in the Telangana Recognised Schools Management Association (TRSMA). He has received full support from the association for his candidacy. In addition to TRSMA, associations representing junior and degree colleges in Telangana have also backed him, increasing his chances in the election.
Speaking to the media, Reddy shared his hope of securing a ticket from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for the upcoming elections. He mentioned that the associations supporting him had met with Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar and Union Minister G Kishan Reddy to push for his nomination.
During his address, Reddy reflected on his personal background, being an alumnus of a government school. Additionally, he urged the government to provide more support to budget-private schools by offering concessions, including reductions in property tax and power supply costs.
Several other prominent figures were present at the announcement, including TRSMA State President S Narsi Reddy, General Secretary K Anil Kumar, and district leaders B Madhusudhan Reddy, A Ramachandra Reddy, and Sudhakar Reddy.
