    The police stopped Maoists from planting landmines in the Tadapal forest area of Venkatapuram Mandal on the Telangana-Chhattisgarh border. They arrested a deputy troop commander, two troopers, and three militiamen for this crime.

    The arrested individuals were named Karam Bhudri, Sodi Kosi, Sodi Vijay, Kudam Dasru, Sodi Urra, and Madakam Bhima. They were caught with weapons and explosives like a DBBL gun, detonators, gelatin sticks, and electrical wires. These individuals had committed various illegal activities, including murder and planting bombs.

    The police are encouraging Maoists from the banned CPI-Maoist Party to surrender willingly and promising government rehabilitation. They are also advising the public not to support the banned party.
